Hi OrchestraMusic, Welcome to the MSDN forum. Now we have two Visual Studio versions (Visual Studio for Mac, Visual Studio Code) that can directly install on the Mac (macOS), refer to your description, it looks like you installed the Visual Studio for Mac, it is a developer environment optimized for building mobile and cloud apps with Xamarin and.NET. Versilian Studios Chamber Orchestra 2 is the antithesis of this movement. It was designed from the beginning to be a library created and centered not around Hollywood - or even the traditional orchestra - but a celebration of the diversity of musical instruments and the people who play them; students, teachers, musicologists, and collectors. Virtual Playing Orchestra is a free orchestral sample library, in sfz format, that attempts to emulate multiple articulations of the solo and section instruments from a full orchestra using the best free samples from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra, No Budget Orchestra, VSCO2 Community Edition, University of Iowa, Philharmonia Orchestraand extra free samples from Mattias Westlund, author of Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra.
Important: You currently need an iPhone or iPad with Face ID support to use VTube Studio. An Android version is also available, but the tracking quality is limited (for example no eye-tracking or winking).
Use your iPhone to become a Live2D Virtual YouTuber and create videos/livestreams directly on your iPhone or from your PC or Mac using software like OBS.

Would automatic visme lipsync (like ovrlipsync) to an audio source be a possibility? It looks like you were working on something this two years ago.
When will Virtual Webcam be available for Mac users?
Hello there! Is it possible on iOS for upcoming versions to include additional face shape inputs, such as 'mouthFunnel' and so on? I'd really love to know!
Having some sort of an 'expert mode' with all raw unfiltered ARKit parameters exposed is something a few people have asked for. I don't see a big benefit in adding them, mainly because by themselves, they aren't really useful or accurate enough to be used in a Live2D model. 'MouthFunnel' for example gets triggered sometimes by accident when making certain faces/mouth shapes. But it's something I'll certainly consider.
Thank you kindly for the answer! Yes, I absolutely do understand your concerns - I've been playing around with CheekPuff as example for a while and noticed that it apparently triggered for no obvious reason or at certain angles. But just to have the option to play around with more face shapes would be a dream since it might allow for more creative outputs when wiring certain parameters together. I'm very looking forward to it!
It doesn't really work on any android at all!! Just letting Yall know!!!
It works on supported devices. You'll need an Android device that has support for ARCore.

Virtual Orchestra Studio Creator
hey Denchi. i wanna ask something. when i add my model on the first time. everything works fine. but when i close the program and open it again, my model doesn't show up when i click that. it's happening on all Vtube version. any solutions?
Please join the Discord server linked on the project page if you still need help with that.
Will there be Linux and Linux phone support in the future?
Oi denchi does it work with PC webcam/Camera yet ?? I just tried it with my webcam and it doesn't seem to work I even downloaded a Head tracker on steam called 'View Tracker'. Stihl 041 farm boss manual. It seem to register that Vtube is a program to track. I was wondering how long (or even if you are) is it going to take for you to program to support webcam or is it possible now??
this is what i wanted cs am too shy to put my face on stream
if this support PC Webcam, this gonna be Game Changer
Agree %200, It would really be incredibly helpful for Rig/development process. Up^ up^
Hi, first of all thank you for this wonderful creation of yours! I am very excited to try and use it but I have a question. In the official documentation, it says if my device is showing a blue square, I should try and downgrade my ARCore. But whenever I try that, I get told the app needs the latest version of ARCore. Is there any solution to this aside from waiting? Thank you!
Is this google dependent? I really want to try this on my Huawei phone, but I can't install it.
Is Linux support planned for a future release?
(I don't even mean soon but is it on the table?)
Well, it kinda sucks that you HAVE to have a phone for this..
But the program is nice. I just wish I could use a webcam.
I'm looking into it, but webcam support isn't planned for the moment.
Question! will I still able to use vtube studio with an iphone but without a mac for streaming?
You can use the app with just your iPhone or in combination with a PC/Mac.
To put the model on the iPhone, you do need a PC/Mac though.
Does that mean i can import model to my iphone from pc?
Exactly. See chapter 'Loading your own Models' in the documentation:
Is record via webcam gonna be available in the future?
Only the ones that have FaceID and the iPhone SE 2020.
iPhone SE 2020 does not have FaceID, right? Does it still work as well as for models WITH FaceID? :3
Oooo it looks cool i think ill download it i just need a tutorial^^
Virtual Orchestra Studio For Mac Os
Installation
Virtual Orchestra Studio For Mac Download
- Download Visual Studio Code for macOS.
- Open the browser's download list and locate the downloaded archive.
- Select the 'magnifying glass' icon to open the archive in Finder.
- Drag
Visual Studio Code.app
to theApplications
folder, making it available in the macOS Launchpad. - Add VS Code to your Dock by right-clicking on the icon to bring up the context menu and choosing Options, Keep in Dock.
Launching from the command line
You can also run VS Code from the terminal by typing 'code' after adding it to the path:
- Launch VS Code.
- Open the Command Palette (⇧⌘P (Windows, Linux Ctrl+Shift+P)) and type 'shell command' to find the Shell Command: Install 'code' command in PATH command.
- Restart the terminal for the new
$PATH
value to take effect. You'll be able to type 'code .' in any folder to start editing files in that folder.
Note: If you still have the old code
alias in your .bash_profile
(or equivalent) from an early VS Code version, remove it and replace it by executing the Shell Command: Install 'code' command in PATH command.
Alternative manual instructions
Instead of running the command above, you can manually add VS Code to your path, to do so run the following commands:
Start a new terminal to pick up your .bash_profile
changes.
Note: The leading slash is required to prevent
$PATH
from expanding during the concatenation. Remove the leading slash if you want to run the export command directly in a terminal.
Note: Since zsh
became the default shell in macOS Catalina, run the following commands to add VS Code to your path:
Touch Bar support
Out of the box VS Code adds actions to navigate in editor history as well as the full Debug tool bar to control the debugger on your Touch Bar:
Mojave privacy protections
After upgrading to macOS Mojave version, you may see dialogs saying 'Visual Studio Code would like to access your {calendar/contacts/photos}.' This is due to the new privacy protections in Mojave and is not specific to VS Code. The same dialogs may be displayed when running other applications as well. The dialog is shown once for each type of personal data and it is fine to choose Don't Allow since VS Code does not need access to those folders. You can read a more detailed explanation in this blog post.
Updates
VS Code ships monthly releases and supports auto-update when a new release is available. If you're prompted by VS Code, accept the newest update and it will get installed (you won't need to do anything else to get the latest bits).
Note: You can disable auto-update if you prefer to update VS Code on your own schedule.
Preferences menu
You can configure VS Code through settings, color themes, and custom keybindings and you will often see mention of the File > Preferences menu group. On a macOS, the Preferences menu group is under Code, not File.
Next steps
Once you have installed VS Code, these topics will help you learn more about VS Code:
- Additional Components - Learn how to install Git, Node.js, TypeScript, and tools like Yeoman.
- User Interface - A quick orientation around VS Code.

Common questions
Why do I see 'Visual Studio Code would like access to your calendar.'
If you are running macOS Mojave version, you may see dialogs saying 'Visual Studio Code would like to access your {calendar/contacts/photos}.' This is due to the new privacy protections in Mojave discussed above. It is fine to choose Don't Allow since VS Code does not need access to those folders.
